Options for straight staircase standard

The step surface and the platform surface for straight stairs are made of welded pressed gratings, pressed gratings, tear plates or smooth sheet metal. Our hole pattern in the step matches the hole pattern for Northern Europe's largest manufacturer. This means that in cases where you only need steps, you can also purchase them from us. This means you don't have to change anything fundamental about the stairs.

The railings are available in industrial or child-safe versions with a height of 1100 mm. All stairs are galvanized as standard EN1461, but can also be supplied powder coated.

Eurostair® straight staircases can be equipped with an inner handrail. It is placed under the regular handrail to increase accessibility for children, for example. Surface treatment and choice of handrail are often determined by whether the staircase should be placed indoors or outdoors where it can be exposed to the weather. 

If the straight staircase should be placed in an environment where you want to minimize unwanted traffic or if children are present, you can add a protective cage to prevent access to the staircase. For our straight staircases, there are two options. One cage that is assembled to the stringer and the other one is ground connected and detached from the staircase.

Together with our engineers, we choose the type of stringers for your straight staircase based on what load the staircase must withstand. The opening, width and angle of the stairs also play a role in choosing the string. We ensure that the staircase complies with Eurocodes and always provide you with a 3D drawing showing the design of the straight staircase in advance.
