Eurostair® started in 1992, then under the name Nordiska Stålprodukter. The founder Tor Pedersen, who has a background as a pilot in commercial aviation, saw all the advantages of using high-strength steel in the production of steel products instead of ordinary "bonn steel". High-strength steel is still the foundation of Eurostairs products today.
